Barbara has lived and worked in Puerto Vallarta for over 15 years.  Originally from the hotel world in Toronto, Canada, Barbara moved to Vallarta and owned and operated two successful restaurants.  She began wedding planning and managing events 8 years ago and helped to grow one of Puerto Vallarta's premier wedding and event planning companies, becoming it's Managing Partner and an integral part of its success.  She has had the honor and great pleasure of producing and designing countless remarkable weddings and events over the years and has built an extensive portfolio for herself, some of which can be seen throughout the pages of this website.  Barbara has since branched out and started Weddings Vallarta by Barbara.  In tune with the Mexican culture and being bilingual, she understands the unique nuances of creating and executing successful events in Puerto Vallarta.  Barbara enjoys guiding each client step by step through the process of planning a destination wedding from afar and has the reputation of producing spectacular and flawless weddings time and time again.  In 2011 Barbara was honored by Destination Weddings & Honeymoons magazine by being added to their A-List of Planners.

Liliana Gonzalez, L.M.

Lily has been producing events for over 4 years and brings a high level of detail to both her client relations as well as with her onsite production staff.  Working hand in hand with Barbara for many years helping to produce many flawless weddings and events, Liliana is an essential part of the Weddings Vallarta Team.  Originally from Queretaro, Mexico, Liliana is completely bilingual and she has traveled extensively throughout the country and brings a unique perspective to the team.  Liliana began her career in the hospitality industry at The Four Seasons chain of hotels and has a wide level of experience dealing with the most challenging of client requests.  Lili prides herself on her attention to detail and exemplary client services.
